At Muscle Activation Fitness, our process is fairly simple: It is our goal to work with you one-on-one, to design an effective plan for better health, a better life, and an overall better well-being. Every individual’s needs are unique, which is why we make it a point to customize each corrective exercise plan. By implementing innovative and effective muscle activation techniques, our training process is designed to improve your muscular function to help you live the life you love!

Muscles have many responsibilities for our bodies. Three of the main functions include: Aligning your bones, creating movement at your joints and absorbing force. By designing an exercise program based on science and backed by evidence, we are able to provide our clients with a one-of-a-kind fitness experience unlike anything else. We’ve outlined our MAT process below so you know what to expect when you visit.

Initial Consultation

Before you begin, we want to meet you and take an in-depth look at what you aspire to accomplish. In your consultation, we will ask you questions about your goals and educate you more about MAT so you have a deeper understanding of how our muscle activation techniques can help you.

Assessment

During your assessment, we will gather a health history and perform a postural examination that evaluates your range of motion. Using Muscle Activation Techniques, we will check the quality of motion in each of your joints, assessing how good your body is at generating force. After your motion analysis, we will move forward in designing a program that will allow you to progress from where you are currently.

Improving Muscular Imbalance

We are here to help you achieve your goals by giving your body what it needs. Through MAT and science-based resistance training, we will work with your body to adapt and grow in strength and stability to allow more challenging movements over time using corrective exercises.

Exercise Continuum

It is important to realize that the more effectively and consistently you train, the better you will feel. Our goal is to enter into a long-term progressive process where with personal training, you can improve and maintain strength for the rest of your life. Depending on where you are at in a specific season, we may change how we apply force to your body so you can feel better, move better, and perform better.
